Principal Message
Welcome to West Branch Early Learning Center, our K-2 campus! It is my pleasure to welcome you and your family to the 2024-2025 school year! This is my twenty-first year in education, but this will be my first year as the principal at the ELC. It is an honor to be back at West Branch, serving our students, staff, and families.
To all of our kindergarten students and families, let me be the first to welcome you into our great school district! To all of our returning first and second grade families, welcome back and I am looking forward to meeting you! Our school day this year is from 9:05 am-3:30 pm.
Here at the ELC, we believe that each one of our students is special and it is our responsibility as a school to educate each one. We want all students to feel that they are important to us, welcomed, and safe in school. This year, our ELC team will do everything in our power to work together with our students and families to create a positive learning environment for every student. Being a K-2 building, we know this is a time of rapid growth for our students and we want to strengthen higher-level thinking in literacy, math, science and social studies. We are also looking to build empathy, compassion, and understanding within each student. We feel truly privileged that we get to be the first building blocks in a child’s overall academic life.
Building strong partnerships and relationships is hugely important to our team at the Early Learning Center. As a building, we communicate primarily through Class Dojo and we encourage you to login to join the fun. Updates are given regularly by teachers and myself throughout the school year. Please know that my staff and I are here to offer support and assistance to you and your family throughout the school year. We are looking forward to working with you this year.
